The Ardgowan has 29 bedrooms and comprises of two adjoining Georgian Houses of architectural note built in 1847 and designed by the famous Scottish Architect George Rae. The annexe, The Pilmour was  originally built as a Georgian house in 1820 and has 7 bedrooms.

Our restaurant Playfair's, is set back within our own south facing terrace and is well known for serving a wide variety of freshly prepared food with a Scottish twist using top quality local suppliers.

We also have Playfair’s bar, located in The Pilmour Hotel, which offers a fantastic bar menu created by our team of Chefs and is a great place to watch sport, or just relax, with our 7 big screens and wonderful staff.
